Rosalyn Aninyei is a violinist and social entrepreneur based in Lagos, Nigeria. She is the founder of Vesta Violins, Nigeria’s first violin repair workshop, and The Vesta Orchestra, an independent Nigerian-based orchestra dedicated to the promotion of music by classical composers of African descent.

She joined me to discuss The Vesta Orchestra, getting fired from the bank of Brazil, music education in Nigeria, Africlassical music, exporting African culture, and setting up an opera house in Lagos.
